The key to success for any truffle hunter lies in a loyal partner with a fine nose. "Our noses" are part of our lovely lagotto romagnolos. The lagotto romagnolo is a dog breed which has been bred since the 1850s as a pure truffle dog.

Lizzy & Java search any terrain calmly and focused with the sole purpose of finding truffles. By digging in the soil they mark exactly where the gastronomic treasures are hidden. Thanks to our excellent truffle dogs we harvest perfectly ripen truffles without making any damage to the nature and to the future growth of truffles.
